The idea of establishing Alumni unit of computer and information sciences college was launched to complete the accelerated pursuit carried out by the college towards achieve excellence in academic, social, and research services and given from the importance of evaluation of graduates role in building the future of nation. The unit is put in its first concern to strengthen the sense of affiliation and communication between graduates and their college, invest their potential and abilities in optimal investment, develop their abilities and give them the opportunity to participate in various activities and programs, and help them to obtain appropriate jobs for their disciplines and labor market requirements. In addition to identify the public and private sector with competencies of graduates in different disciplines which offered by the college, where the graduates are considered as honorable models and national cadres that contributed and still contribute in nation building and development.

The unit is also aims to become a space for graduates through where they could find a channel to communicate with each other and share their various experiences and knowledge to establish professional relationships which contribute in community partnership developing that is mainly in the construction of knowledge society.

Alumni unit is honored when every graduate from the college become a member of this unit, and benefit from various advantages and services that unit offers. This unit will allow job opportunities for college graduates in public and private sectors, and will also provide consultation that necessary to follow their research, in addition to integrated training to meet the labor market requirement. The unit also will enable them to attend occasions and various events, which held within the corridors of college and university, and give them the opportunity to participate in various programs of the unit.

Unity membership was granted to any graduate from college of computer and information sciences who want to join the unit as a member and get advantages of its service. Membership also may be granted by a decision making through the unity council for those who contributed to the development of unit areas or those who provide financial or moral services.

B) Meetings of the unit council

Unit council was held four regular meetings each academic year , the meeting shall not be valid unless the attending of the majority of members , if the majority of the members didn't attend ,it becomes possible to hold another meeting in the next week and this meeting is valid with people who attend. The council has the right of holding extraordinary meetings whenever requested by more than half of its members, and in this case the meeting is limited to discuss the topics that the meeting held for. The decisions of the unity council is issued by the majority vote of the participants, and when the votes are equal, the vote of head of council is probably selected.

The Deanship of Student Affairs seeks to achieve one of the objectives of the university, which is to prepare and qualify balanced and personal integrated university youth to carry out the scientific and practical duty towards the nation and society, the deanship is the body directly related to the students and their caregivers, and the conduct of their activities of various kinds, and it is their responsibility to prepare them educationally, socially, culturally and sportily.
