The idea of establishing Alumni unit of computer and information sciences college was launched to complete the accelerated pursuit carried out by the college towards achieve excellence in academic, social, and research services and given from the importance of evaluation of graduates role in building the future of nation. The unit is put in its first concern to strengthen the sense of affiliation and communication between graduates and their college, invest their potential and abilities in optimal investment, develop their abilities and give them the opportunity to participate in various activities and programs, and help them to obtain appropriate jobs for their disciplines and labor market requirements. In addition to identify the public and private sector with competencies of graduates in different disciplines which offered by the college, where the graduates are considered as honorable models and national cadres that contributed and still contribute in nation building and development.
The unit is also aims to become a space for graduates through where they could find a channel to communicate with each other and share their various experiences and knowledge to establish professional relationships which contribute in community partnership developing that is mainly in the construction of knowledge society.
Alumni unit is honored when every graduate from the college become a member of this unit, and benefit from various advantages and services that unit offers. This unit will allow job opportunities for college graduates in public and private sectors, and will also provide consultation that necessary to follow their research, in addition to integrated training to meet the labor market requirement. The unit also will enable them to attend occasions and various events, which held within the corridors of college and university, and give them the opportunity to participate in various programs of the unit.

A) Conditions of membership
Unity membership was granted to any graduate from college of computer and information sciences who want to join the unit as a member and get advantages of its service. Membership also may be granted by a decision making through the unity council for those who contributed to the development of unit areas or those who provide financial or moral services.
B) Types of membership
1.  Active membership
This membership is granted to those who interested in joining the unit and want working in programs and activities of the unit.
The owner of this membership has the right to candidate for the membership of the unit council.
The owner of this membership has the right to vote through secret ballot for the candidates of the unity council.
 The owner of this membership has the right to get all advantages of the membership.
2.  Participating membership
This membership is granted to those who interested in joining the unit and want to work in the programs and activities of the unit.
The owner of this membership has the right to vote through secret ballot for the candidates of the unity council.
 The owner of this membership has the right to obtain all advantages of the membership.
3.  Honorary membership
This Membership may be granted by a decision taking through the unity council for those who contributed to the development of unit areas or those who provide financial or moral services.
The owner of this membership has the right to obtain all advantages of the membership.
C) Termination of membership
The membership is terminated in the following cases:
Withdraw of the member or in the case of his death.
If the member makes any act or activity that is causing physically or morally damage to the unit, and the membership in this case does not terminate unless the unity council make a decision.
D) Restoration of membership
It is possible to restore the membership to the member who lost it upon his request by the decision of the unity council, if the reasons of the previous membership termination was removed.
E) Advantages of getting membership of the unit
Getting the membership card is allowing taking advantages of the services provided by the unit.

A) Formation of the unity council
Unity Council is consists of a group of members chosen as follows :
A) Head of the Unit who was the college vice for development and quality.Â
B) One of college staff from male students department nominated by college Dean.
C) One of college staff from female's students department nominated by college Dean.
D) Four owners of active membership were selected by the unit members.
Membership duration in the council is two years renewable for one time.
If the member of the council was absent three times respectively during the academic year without providing an acceptable excuse, the unity council will be consider him as resigned.
If the member of the council were vacate for any reason, the council will select another member.
The council selects one of its members to do the trusteeship of Council work.
Form a committee by the dean of the college to supervise the process of secret ballot to choose the candidate members from the owners of active membership of the unit council.
B) Meetings of the unit council
Unit council was held four regular meetings each academic year , the meeting shall not be valid unless the attending of the majority of members , if the majority of the members didn't attend ,it becomes possible to hold another meeting in the next week and this meeting is valid with people who attend. The council has the right of holding extraordinary meetings whenever requested by more than half of its members, and in this case the meeting is limited to discuss the topics that the meeting held for. The decisions of the unity council is issued by the majority vote of the participants, and when the votes are equal, the vote of head of council is probably selected.

About program
The program is provide lectures and workshops to help the unit members to know their skills, to determine their potential, and displays the work areas which recommended to seek it after graduation. Through this program, communication with officials of graduates links is done with other colleges and universities to organize common meeting between the members to share experiences among them, as well as cooperation with empolyeers to recruit the members of the unit.

Deanship of Student Affairs
The Deanship of Student Affairs seeks to achieve one of the objectives of the university, which is to prepare and qualify balanced and personal integrated university youth to carry out the scientific and practical duty towards the nation and society, the deanship is the body directly related to the students and their caregivers, and the conduct of their activities of various kinds, and it is their responsibility to prepare them educationally, socially, culturally and sportily.
Since its inception in 1395, the Deanship aims to provide the appropriate university environment for students through its services and activities that contribute to the social, psychological and academic personality of the student, and therefore the deanship's work is based on the provision of social welfare services, namely, the service of students in the field of housing, nutrition, rewards and student fund services, and the service of students with special needs in addition to the provision of student activities, which include cultural, social, sports, artistic, scouting and various student club activities.
The objectives of the Deanship of Student Affairs:

H.R.H. is close to the students and gives them advice and guidance that will motivate them to work sincerely in their educational and practical life, giving and providing in their life.
Dr. Al-Alam appreciated the great support of the wise leadership to education which witnessed unrivaled development within a short period under the guidance by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, and his Crown Prince H.R.H Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz as well as the Deputy Premier H.R.H Prince Muqrin bin Abdul Aziz. Our country has been able to achieve great goals in various fields in higher education to raise the level of students' proficiency, as led by H.E. the Minister of Higher Education- Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Angari.
In conclusion, Dr. Mohammed Al-Alam thanked and appreciated His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Prince of Riyadh, and the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Angari. He added that his establishment comes as an effective model and a clear path for all the works that flow in this direction and acquires its importance through three directions. Stressing that the Kingdom's efforts in every forum and through every direction cannot be counted, enumerated, or investigated, and this work for which we gather today is but a drop in the sea of ​​what the state of monotheism and the correct faith offers, the land of the Two Holy Mosques and the Qibla of Muslims.
Dr. Abalkhail stressed that the university will spare no effort in facilitating and facilitating all the reasons for success and useful knowledge for those who engage in this field of scholarship students, and the university director concluded his speech by thanking God and then the rulers in this country, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince for their continuous support to the university What is good for Islam and Muslims, he also thanked the Minister of Higher Education for sponsoring the forum and supporting the university's activities.
For his part, Dr. Abdullah Al-Razeen, Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education and Executive Director of the Educational Charitable Fund, stated that the aim of the forum is to teach Muslim children to be of help in their countries. The first of them deals with the Kingdom’s experience in educating external scholarship students in Saudi universities as a model, the second is the efforts of Saudi educational institutions in communicating with scholarship students after their graduation and their return to their countries, the third is the role of civil institutions and associations in educating external scholarship students, the fourth is obstacles to the education of external scholarship students, and the fifth is the vision At the end of the meeting, the university director honored the participants in the educational charitable fund.
Dr. Aba Al-Khail also signed a contract to operate three external institutes with courses in the State of Indonesia with the endowments of Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi, worth eight and a half million riyals, and a financing and support contract for scholarship students with the endowments of Saleh Al-Rajhi, with a value of seven and a half million riyals for more than two hundred grants. The agreement was signed by Amin General of the Foundation Abdul Salam Al-Rajhi.
He also signed memoranda of understanding with Aljomaih Charitable Foundation, represented by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Aljomaih as well, Global Knowledge Foundation, Al-Mashreq Contracting Company and Al-Ruwad Group, and a cooperation agreement with Al-Afkar Company, where Sheikh Yousef Al-Ahmadi announced the company's donation of two million riyals as an endowment to the educational charitable fund at the university. His Excellency also honored Omar Babiker for financing an educational program in the College of Computer and Information Sciences and the College of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
