The Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Student Affairs participated in the campaign "Our Values We Rise and Rise" organized and supervised by the Administrative Affairs of the University Vice Presidency for Female Student Affairs, on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in the lobby of Administrative Building 416 in King Abdullah Women's City.
This campaign aims to promote the university's values based on moderation, excellence, participation, sustainability, transparency, responsibility, and initiative), spread Islamic values and consolidate decent morals, and contribute to building a model of good example, so that the university's employees have positive qualities and behavior to be emulated.

Diversity and disappearance are among the most important features that distinguish human societies that vary from each other in many respects, and the disparity within one society may be dependent on being among different communities. Intellectuals, scholars and philosophers have been aware of this fact since the beginnings of the first history. On the other hand, religions and beliefs have confirmed this fact.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Alam, the Vice-President for Knowledge Exchange and International Communication, praised the Supreme Jurisdiction Institute for organizing the International Conference on Judiciary and Arbitration. He emphasized the importance of the conference in asserting justice and equality among society members.
Dr. Al-Alam said: “The conference is a great opportunity for specialists to demonstrate expertise in judiciary, which indeed will enhance the knowledge of experts and researchers. He admired the inclusiveness of the conference’ sessions, which covered international judiciary and arbitration, judiciary and arbitration in Sharia and law perspective, applicable law in judiciary and arbitration, and development prospects of the judiciary and arbitration mechanisms. He also highlighted the importance of the conference proposals and recommendations in order to solve any issue that can exist due to the rapid increase of population and economic growth.
Dr. Al-Alam also admired the noticeable progress of the Saudi courts in terms of systems and mechanism of justice, which aim to minimize the total independence on judiciary, and appeal to arbitration instead.
Eventually, Dr. Al-Alam thanked His Excellency, Dr. Fawzan Al-Fawzn, the Acting Rector of Al-Imam University, the Dean of the Supreme Jurisdiction Institute, the participants, and all committees’ members for their efforts in the conference.

Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Mahmoud, Vice-Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University for Educational Affairs, has chaired on the last days the first meeting of the organizing committee of “International Conference of Judiciary and Arbitration”, which will be host by Al-Imam University on the next October, 2015.
Commencing the meeting, Dr. Al-Mahmoud was called all members to pay upmost attentions to it, for it will address the role playing by judiciary and arbitration in settling foundations of justice and equality among members of the community. He, additionally, urged the academic committee to accept research papers and studies that dealing with mechanisms of judiciary and arbitration.
In similar vein, the meeting has discussed carefully the process of advertising the conference throughout media and social media tools, as well as the duties of the members of the organizing committee.
The Dean of the College of Sharia in Al-Ahsa, Sheikh Dr. Yasser Al-Rabie, announced, on Thursday, the recommendations of the Al-Ahsa conference, the capital of Arab tourism, who patronized His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef, Governor of the Eastern Region, and was inaugurated by His Highness Prince Badr bin Muhammad bin Gallawi, Governor of Al-Ahsa, and organized by the Saudi Geographical Society and the Department of Geography in the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies in Al-Ahsa, for a period of three days in Makan Hotel.

He added: "The recommendation to apply the Hof model to estimate the tourist demand and similar models in the applied studies of tourist destinations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the formation of a specialized team in this field to do so in the field of inter-studies, and to support tourism services and facilities in Al-Ahsa Governorate through the establishment of a number of projects The proposal is like an ecological hospital in Al Aqeer Beach and an eco-tourism lodge in Al-Ahsa Park, encouraging the private sector and supporting it technically to direct more investments in the national tourism field.
The conference also recommended the importance of designing a map of thermal comfort in the Kingdom, and then linking the possible tourism activities to times of thermal comfort, and the inclusion of the historical region in Al-Aqir to the components of the registration file for Al-Ahsa Oasis in the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites, reinforcement of the existing eco-tourism destinations in Al-Ahsa governorate as supportive elements of tourism activity such as sand skiing and camping, activating the role of natural reserves in eco-tourism in the Kingdom in parallel with the application of environmental legislation controls to achieve sustainable environmental tourism development..
The recommendations stressed the activation of the cultural heritage in Al-Ahsa Governorate as one of the attractions for enhancing the tourism component and increasing the tourism capacity of the tourism sector in the governorate, highlighting the most important challenges facing achieving sustainable tourism development in Al-Ahsa Governorate and ways to address them, and creating a database for urban heritage areas in Al-Ahsa Governorate and using Its indicators for the purposes of tourism development, the importance of preparing a guide for tourism investment and activating the role of tourist guide offices, and seeking the help of international expertise in developing and improving tourism promotion..
It also came in the recommendations to address the agricultural retreat in Al-Ahsa Governorate, by activating farm tourism through finding environmental lodges in it for tourist accommodation as a compensated economic return, and using natural features that have economic ingredients in sustainable economic development, including Al-Asfar Lake in Al-Ahsa Governorate, Providing interactive digital platforms for the use of tourists in the tourist areas in the Kingdom, and stimulating medical tourism and environmental hospitalization through the optimal use of natural components suitable for him, tourism activity with designing digital maps for available hospital sites, and paying attention to external tourism marketing for tourism facilities and sites in the governorate by preparing the appropriate information materials and distributing them through attachés Saudi cultural abroad..
It is mentioned that the conference lasted three days through 6 research and discussion sessions, which included 40 papers presented by a group of specialists and academics searching in the field of tourism and their geographical patterns at the level of Arab countries, which served the topic of the conference and its main themes for Al-Ahsa.
UNESCO Research Chair of Interfaith Dialogue, attributed research chair with Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has launched lastly a discussion panel entitled “Elites Role in Dissemination and Promotion of Interfaith Dialogue Initiative” at the rounding hall of Conference Bldg of the university.
Commenced the session, Dr. Abdullah al-Refai, Dean of College of Media and Communication, and who doubles as Principal of UNESCO Research Chair, has gave a word where he clarified that the research chair have a vision basing on Saudi Arabian Kingdom initiative of interfaith dialogue, which resulted in establishing King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue at Vienna, Austria.
Dr. Al-Refai has gave a question if after ten years of launching the interfaith dialogue the dialogue has prevails on earth. “Cultural, Academia, political and sport elites have a positive impact on community and a key role to play, that’s why UNESCO Research Chair has targeted, through arranging the discussion panel, to focus on the expecting roles of them”, said he. He further pointed out that, challenges that threaten world peace still huge, as disesteem of religious and cultures continues.

Investigations unveiled that, the non-Saudi employee has holding a valid resident card and working in accordance with a legal contract signed between the university operated-company”, said he.
Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University always keens to implement and adhere with the related laws and regulations, and as such eagers to preserve rights of female and male employees as well as all members of the university. All are equal without discrimination of race nor nationality, but all are working in full swing to serve the university and community in light of the teachings and traditions of Islam, which enjoins justice, and good deeds, and in light of applicable laws and regulations of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, emphasized Dr. Al-Alam.
