His Excellency the Minister of Education issued a decision to renew the appointment of Dr. Suleiman bin Suleiman Al-Anqari as Dean of the Deanship of Admission and Registration, and His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Ameri, congratulated Dr. Al-Anqari with this confidence, extending his thanks to His Excellency the Minister of Education and wishing him success and payment for managing the affairs of the Deanship of Admission and Registration and carrying out the responsibility entrusted to him towards achieving the goals that the university seeks to achieve.

The Activity Committee in the Physics Department, led by Ms. Seeta Al-Anzi, launched the Reading Club "Ruwaq Al-Thaqafah," under the auspices of the Female Campus, Building 323. It was launched on Monday, 07/18/1437 AH, corresponding to 04/25/2016 AD, in the Panorama Hall of Building 323, at 9:15 am, under the supervision of both Dr. Kholoud Al-Balawi, Vice-Dean of the College, and Ms. Mervat Al-Zumia, Deputy Head of the Department. The Ceremony was attended by students, faculty members of the Physics Department, faculty members of other colleges, and staff of Building 323.

The Ceremony started with a presentation about the importance of reading and its impact on society and individuals, development of reading and care for it in the Kingdom during the last few years, emergence of a number of activities aimed at enhancing the importance of reading such as Riyadh International Book Fair, and establishment of a number of reading clubs in different universities and education and literature sectors. Then, the launching of the Club "Ruwaq Al-Thaqafah" was announced, and the attendees walked around the different stands, including:

Furthermore, Ms. Seeta Fahad Al-Anzi, President of the Club, and the members (Haya Al-Arifi, Alaa' Al-Basheer, Munifah Al-Anzi, Ibtisam Al-Otaibi, Heyam Abu Humaid, Nourah Al-Otaibi, Huda Al-Otaibi, Adhari Al-Dosari, Khawlah Al-Jarjeer) supervised the establishment of the Club.

On the other hand, Ms. Seeta Fahad Al-Anzi thanked Dr. Ahmad Al-Qaoud, Head of the Physics Department, and Ms. Mervat Al-Zumia, Vice-Dean of the Department, for their support and encouragement of the Club. She also thanked Dr. Muhammad Babtain, Dean of the College, for his support for anything that would distinguish students of the College.

The dean of preparatory programs stressed the importance of the council and its positive impact on the students of the deanship, and achieved the desired results, and thanked the students of the deanship and students for their interaction with this council, which represents them.

One of the most important recommendations of this meeting is to prepare an electronic meeting with new students before the beginning of the semester, study skills electronically, communicate with the deanship of development and quality to enhance the role of faculty members in general and deal with new students, and emphasize the students of the path of scientific institutes with the specialties available to them.

It is worth mentioning that this council was established by the decision of the dean of preparatory programs dr. ali al salem at the beginning of the academic year 1439/1440 ah, and the council aims to follow the deanship students in different tracks and achieve their desires and hear their opinions and proposals, and involve them in the decisions of the deanship concerning students and students and their needs and develop their abilities in dialogue and discussion, and take responsibility.

Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Mahmoud, Vice-Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University for Educational Affairs, has chaired at his office here the first meeting of the university advisory panel.

In the meeting agenda, Dr. Al-Mahmoud has discussed carefully with all members of the panel the functionalities of the panel, as well as the initiatives of all colleges regarding Saudi Vision 2030. Imam mohammed bin saud islamic university, like other universities, has been taking academic guidance and applying it in its educational units, serving its students since 1402 ah, when the deanship of admission and registration was established at the university, and carried on this enormous task among its many responsibilities, related to the care of the educational aspects of students, and further guidance to its objectives; accept university officials, who are aware of the impact of this important thing on the student's scientific life and in his educational career.

The faculty of arabic is a unit of the university that seeks to take the hands of its students to safety, in accordance with the guidance regulations and objectives, and in line with the directives of university officials in this regard.

Mentoring is an organized professional work, which aims to care for the student comprehensively in the educational, social, psychological and other aspects, so we took care of it, and assigned it to a selected group of faculty members at the college.

A number of candidates of the college won seats on the board of directors of the Saudi scientific society for the arabic language, at the meeting held by the association in the presence of the general assembly last Thursday evening (23/4/1436 ah) in the great hall of the faculty of Arabic language.

The elections ended with the formation of the new board members as follows:

The council will continue its new composition for three years.

It is worth mentioning that the saudi scientific society for arabic language was established by decision of the university council no. 421/1157-1422, and has multiple objectives and responsibilities, which are practiced in accordance with specialized committees including: scientific committee, technical committee, social committee, public relations and follow-up committee, finance committee, arabization and public response committee, women's committee.

the members of the council have been congratulated by the general assembly and faculty members of the faculty of arabic language, and the first meeting of the new council is expected to be held in the coming days.

Under the patronage of H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University has launched on the last Wednesday evening at the indoor sport arena its summer club program. 

In significance with the event, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mayman, Vice-Rector of Al-Imam University for Sharia Institutes' Affairs, and who doubles as Vice-President of High Committee of Summer Clubs, has start the designed ceremony with a speech, where he welcomed the university officials and dignitaries as well as parents. He clarified that, nearly 50 summer clubs are opening within the university worthing one million Saudi riyals have been supporting by H.E. the university rector. "Numbers of junior students registering this year are twenty hundreds, and the number will be increasing on next days", added he. Dr. Al-Mayman, in his words, appreciated the due care and support been received by King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Custodian of the Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince H.R.H. Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Crown Prince Muqren bin Abdulaziz. 

In similar vein, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sagyer, Dean of Deanship of Students' Affairs, has addressed the gathering. "Al-Imam University is proud for the achievements accomplished during the last years in organizing the summer clubs. What has been achieved is pushing the university and its people to tackle all new, and meet the needs of the participants, and pursue to accomplish the community desires in light of interest of filling the juniors' time with every good knowledge", said he. 

Dr. Al-Sagyer praised the staunch support and oriented-guidance of H.E. the university rector to the activities and events of the deanship. 

Thereafter, the students performed a theatrical staging about summer clubs, and then performed chanting operetta as well as some athletics. In the end of the ceremony, employees of the summer clubs presented a plaque and a souvenir to H.E. the university rector.
