Shared sports facilities with the local community
​The Sports Club of the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Student Affairs organized a group sports event in cooperation with the Saudi Rugby Sports Federation, which was held in the sports hall in Building 412 on Wednesday, 25/10/2032, as it is a new event of its kind and a fun and beautiful addition in the world of team sports, and has a positive impact on physical and mental health.
One of the conditions for joining the sport of rugby is that the player must be between 15 to 35 years old, and his physique is strong, and he is quick to move and focus, as it requires that the player be good at throwing the ball for a long distance with the hand or leg.
The event began by teaching students the rules and basics of rugby, how to play it, and the implementation of several rounds with coaches from the Saudi Rugby Sports Federation.

The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Vice Deanship for Programs and Activities, organized several meetings with a number of employees of the Quality of Life Program Center in order to activate a number of community initiatives and partnerships, including the initiative to maximize the utilization of facilities and assets owned by the university and benefit from them to host events, sports, entertainment, cultural and recreational activities and amateur activities in partnership. With the private sector, these meetings were accompanied by a number of field visits during the last period to the sports facilities of the Deanship and to monitor them. The visit included the sports stadium, then the indoor swimming pools, the indoor gym, and then the outdoor playgrounds.       Â
At the conclusion of this blessed visit, the visiting delegation expressed its great thanks and appreciation for the barefoot and good reception and an integrated explanation of this huge sports edifice and their aspiration to cooperate with the university in everything that would serve the people of this generous country and contribute to achieving and strengthening the Kingdom’s vision 2030.Â
The sports club affiliated to the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Student Affairs concluded a number of sporting events for the students of King Abdullah City for female students, which included the kangaroo activity, whose objectives were to improve the physical fitness of the female students, create an atmosphere of familiarity between female students and encourage them to exercise, and to hold a sporting event. Develops the social aspect, and the use of time for the benefit and interest.
The event included a number of group games between two or more students, such as: balloon jumping, and other challenges such as: plank, squat, resistance and skipping rope.
The president of the club, A. Sheikha Al-Dosari said that the club organizes training classes two days a week, which include light sports exercises among the female students, and confirmed that she is looking forward to the female students’ participation in external competitions and tournaments to represent the university and achieve higher positions.
The Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Ohood bint Othman Al-Manea, stated that the deanship aims to promote sports culture and the practice of physical activity.
The club also organized an event Together We Walk under the slogan Step by Step for a Healthy Life, where walking is one of the least expensive physical activities as it does not require special equipment or skills, and it is also a way to improve fitness and maintain health to reduce stress, and to spread the culture and importance of team sports.
The club president spoke that the goal of the walking event is to develop awareness and change the society's pattern of movement, and its repercussions on the psychological state of the person, as well as to achieve the Kingdom's vision 2030, whose axes are to create a vibrant society.
The club participated in its official Twitter account with a number of tips and exercises, holding Ramadan competitions and distributing prizes to the winners, provided by letsplayksa20. The club looks forward to welcoming the students in the next semester with various activities and competitions.
In the presence of the President of the Saudi Universities Sports Federation, Dr. Khaled Al-Muzaini, the Dean of Student Affairs at King Saud University, Dr. Ali Al-Dalbahi, and the Director of the Tournament, Dr. Ali Al-Jabari, concluded today, the Saudi Universities Sports Federation Futsal Championship with the coronation of the Imam Muhammad University team Bin Saud won the championship after his victory over the Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University team 0-1.
The matches of the fourth round of the Saudi Universities Sports Federation Futsal Championship were held at King Saud University, where the first meeting brought together the Jazan University team against the Imam Muhammad bin Saud University team, and ended with the victory of the Imam Muhammad bin Saud University team with three goals to two goals. In the second meeting, the qualified team Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University to the final match after overtaking Qassim University team on penalties by three goals to one.
In the match to determine the third and fourth place, the Jazan University team defeated the Qassim University team by three goals to none, 0-3. The Jazan University team ranked third and the Qassim University team ranked fourth.
It is an extra-curricular sports activity that helps the student to prepare himself spiritually, physically and mentally, and to develop his individual skills through courses, competitions, trips, scouting camps and other group activities, so that he is a good citizen capable of giving and giving to others.

The Student Scientific Club held a table tennis championship . About 32 students participated from all departments. Two students were qualified to the finals: Rakan Al-Suhaym and Abdullah Al-Kharashi who won the championship.
The final match was attended by Dr. Mohammad Mehsin Babtain, the dean of the college; Dr. Osamah Al-Dagheri, the vice dean of the college for administrative and financial affairs; Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Ma'yoof, the head of administrative and financial affairs; Mr. Musa Khurmi, the head of students activities; and the student Abdullah Al-Resheedi, the organizer of the championship; in addition to a number of staff and students.
